A corner table at ADJØ, the Danish café and gallery on George Street — and, uniquely in this collection, the untouched photograph itself: the right-angle of the table answering the right-angle of the ceiling, the wall split into rust and powder-blue, and a framed dusk in film grain — one wire, one dark gable, a fading sky — hanging inside the picture like a poster within the poster. In a café that hangs emerging artists, the walls were always going to end up in a frame.
